BioI'm and 18 (very-nearly-going-on-19) year old South African, with an uncontrollable obsession with The X-Files. When I'm not busy drooling over Mulder on the TV (or in my mind) I'm writing (masterpieces!), painting, making movies, reading, singing in the shower (and everywhere else) and generally just letting the creative juices flow! I've had a somewhat interesting life up till now, with divorced parents and an ex-stepfather, to boot. And I've lived in eight different houses (some of them flats), which is just fine with me, because I hate being in the same place for too long. I also love travel! I've been all over South Africa (everywhere except Durban and the Northern Cape) and I've been to Zimbabwe/Zambia (to see the Victoria Falls), Austria (I have family there), Germany (well, only Munich) and London. Which brings me to my next point: I'm going to the USA next year; to au pair!
I have a really close bond with my mom, and my dad and I are scarily alike. Even though my parents are divorced, we all get along very well! I also have a younger brother (we have different fathers), who I adore! He is very moody, but extremely intelligent and very creative...takes after his sister, of course ;) Then there is my Gran (ouma), who is a writer and we really get each other (most of the time). And my two best friends; Nicole and Lee. Very intelligent, but both a little crazy (each in their own way). And Judy, whom I've known since I was 4 years old and who is like my sister. And Katriena, who I've known since I was 1 years old. For those of you who are a bit slow with math; that's 18 years! And, of course, the "four cousins"! Angie, who is in Holland at the moment; also au pairing, and Kosie and all the rest of my crazy friends!
I will miss all of them A LOT!
